Adult Day Services Virtual Tour
From the moment you walk into Lutheran Home's Adult Day Center and experience the bright main rooms overlooking the playground (take a virtual tour) of our Children's Center, you know it's a unique program. Staffed with dedicated professionals, you know they love what they do.
Lutheran Home Adult Day Services is committed to providing comprehensive programs and supportive services that promote dignity, independence and self esteem, allowing individuals to stay in their homes. Loved ones enjoy the socialization, yet are supervised in a protective setting. Caregivers feel good about getting some much needed time for work or to care for themselves.
Lutheran Home Adult Day Services is a member of LutheranLiving Services, a non-profit organization with an outstanding reputation of serving seniors for more than 100 years. Should the need ever arise, Adult Day Services residents have prioritized access to a wide variety of services provided by LutheranLiving Services, including: assisted living, rehabilitation services, skilled nursing, and a variety of programs.
Lutheran Home Adult Day Services has easy access for visiting family and friends, centrally located in Wauwatosa, minutes from the expressway. (Directions)
Our staff provides personalized care, meeting individual's needs. This is evident in everything from alternative meal options to our ability/interest based small groups. Naturally we provide dignified assistance/support with feeding, bathing, dressing or other personal care, as needed. Whether it's a full day including fun, food and fellowship or occasional personal care services, you may select the amount of support which best meets your needs.

Individuals are grouped by interest and ability with daily activities. Listed below are some of our regular activities:
- Intergenerational activities from in-house Day Care
- Chapel/Bible studies
- Field Trips
- Fishing
- Dancing at Serb Hall
- Milwaukee Domes
- Picnic at Pike Lake
- Boating at Cedar Lake
- Botanical Gardens
- Daily exercise
- Pet Therapy
- Music Therapy provided twice monthly by Jean from the Milwaukee Conservatory of Music
- Crafts
- Discussion Groups
- Games
- Cards
- Memory enhancement exercises
We are very flexible in providing services which best fit your needs and schedule. Below are some of the care services we offer:

- Psychiatrist
You cannot care for your loved one without caring for yourself. While
enrolling a loved one in an Adult Day Services program can be a difficult
decision, it can be your chance to do something wonderful for that
person and for yourself. Whether helping you to get caught up, revitalized,
rested or allowing you to return to work, Lutheran Home Adult Day Services
can share the caring, allowing you to be at your best. Additionally,
we understand the difficulties caregivers encounter and offer a Caregiver
Support Group to help.

Lutheran Home Adult Day Services is open later than most Adult Day Service centers in the Milwaukee area.
